Estates Mobilisation Lead

The Estates Lead oversees the provision of appropriate, safe and efficient estates and facilities.

The Estates and Health and Safety Function provide information and services to the business to manage their estate in a way that supports the delivery of services. They make sure that the business meets regulatory requirements in regard to Health and Safety.


Estate and Facilities Management

  • To manage the day to day operations of a significant proportion of the Estates portfolio, including:
    • property search, acquisition and fit out,
    • ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored
    • ensuring that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and objectives delivered
  • Support and actively participate in Estates focused management and business meetings as required


Stakeholder Management

  • Provides leadership and guidance to the company in property related matters
  • Works with the Head of Estates and Health and Safety to maintain a property strategy to support the corporate strategy and change management
  • Manage all property suppliers and contractors as required
  • Develops and maintains positive and effective relationships with all stakeholders including commissioner, supply chain partners, suppliers (including facilities management providers) and contractors.
  • Ensures effective and proactive communication and negotiation with landlords as required across the estate, including regular reviews with landlord provided services
  • Ensure the provision of excellent services to the business



  • Maintain a business continuity system and advise divisions on its management
  • Maintain financial control of costs and risks across the estate.
  • Manage and maintain the property system to ensure accurate data on property costs and utilisation.
  • Maintain and negotiate licences and leases including management of lease breaks/clauses
  • Manage dilapidations across the estate including work with Ingeus Finance function
  • Responsible for the setting and management of property budgets in conjunction with business owners
  • Ensure every division receives the best value from their property
  • Ensure an effective facilities management framework is deployed in line with legislative requirements
  • Ensure all property and facilities data and registers are accurate



  • Maintain statutory and internal compliance in the provision of all related services
  • Ensure all sites are maintained to agreed standards and regulations.
  • Ensure the physical security of every site by means of risk assessment, management and review.
  • Coordinate the management of environmental, health and safety management e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 27001


  • Lead the coordination of projects and programmes relating to the establishment and management of estates expansions required for new business opportunities (business development), growth (implementation) and exit
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of Estates provision to the business
  • Support the business with timely, accurate data and information on existing and proposed estates
  • To undertake any other activity that would be reasonably required
