Quality, Audit & Risk Manager - National

The Quality Audit and Risk Manager ensures proactive evaluation of performance and is responsible for ensuring continuous development of the ETE service and its delivery to drive better outcomes for Service Users.

This is a National role with responsibility for the North East, East & West Midlands regions.


  • Regularly review and benchmark quality and performance within the contact to support continuous improvements to raising standards and improve future service design.
  • Manage and monitor the overall KPI’s and performance to deliver the contracts working closely with Senior Management Team. Ensuring that team members are exceeding their minimum performance targets on an individual and team basis in line with the contract targets
  • Evaluate performance through Service User outcomes and provide support need to managers to inform effective evaluation.
  • Define and shape the quality requirements through robust standard operating procedures.
  • Evolve ongoing development programmes to ensure all teams have the capacity, knowledge and understanding to deliver quality programmes through operating procedures and policies.
  • Undertake regular collation and review all quality reports and associated data to ensure standards are met and maintained, whilst seeking ways to make improvements.
  • Through monitoring and review, ensure quality and accuracy within contract data and provide advice and guidance on improvements as required, working with teams to share and ensure best practice.
  • Implement agreed quality management strategy and ensure consistency and alignment against the overall business objectives and plans.
  • Adhere to agreed KPI’s and management of these within relevant teams to ensure compliance and business objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Act as ‘Lead’ on all audits, providing guidance and support to teams to ensure requirements are met
  • To keep up to date with relevant documents and policies for the efficient and effective execution of the role
  • Adhere to quality processes and procedures.
  • Manage compliance in accordance with information security policy and procedures, ensuring that any perceived risks to information security are reported to the Information Security Manager.
  • Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 each employee has a responsibility to Health and Safety and must also adhere to their responsibilities as laid out in the H & S policy.
