Team Manager - East Midlands

Team Managers will hold the local operational and performance management responsibility, and line manage all front-line delivery roles.

Team Managers will manage the local relationships with agencies including Personal Wellbeing service providers (public/private/VCS), NHS, Councils and other local organisations to support Service Users across a range of statutory and mainstream services which form an essential network for achieving Service User outcomes.

Leading & Manage the Service

  • Support successful delivery of Personal Wellbeing (PW) and related services to Service Users.
  • Monitor and manage day to day quality of provision to deliver exceptional performance and achieve contractual KPIs.
  • Line manager, coach, develop and motivate high quality PW Advisors and PW Mentors.
  • Proactively manage PW Advisor and Mentors performance to exceed their targets through regular performance reviews.
  • Maximise and maintain employee engagement.
  • Plan and forecast the resource requirement to meet emerging operational requirements, and ensure effective and timely recruitment.
  • Manage operational liaison with NPS Responsible Officers to maximise service delivery quality and manage casework requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for integration and identify, utilise and share best practice.
  • Monitor ways of working and management information and identify ways to continuously improve.

Ensure the service is informed and supportive of the advantages afforded by utilising lived experience.

  • Act as Senior Practitioner – delivering casework / interventions to provide resilience and flexibility when required.
  • Motivate and promote Service Users’ belief in their ability to change.


  • Ensure compliance with Statutory H&S Regulations
  • Ensure adequate security practices are in place.
  • Maintain compliance to all Ingeus policies and procedures.
