Local Partnership Lead

We are looking for a Local Partnership Lead to join us on our Restart programme on a permanent contract based in London!

The Local Partnership Lead is responsible for engaging with local stakeholders including Jobcentres, Council services, charities, community groups, mental health support services, training providers and colleges. They will build relationships to create referral routes into the varied local support our participants need to help them find work.

Working closely with our operations team/Advisers Local Partnership Lead will identify where current services do not meet our participants needs/barriers and source additional or alternative local solutions. The role will also be responsible for managing and quality assuring external provision ensuring that it is accessible and supports participants in their progression towards employment.


Some of the duties involved in this role are:

  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and local services, by regularly meetings and engaging with them
  • Manage relationships with local partners to secure access to high quality, value for money services that will support participants to remove barriers to work
  • Liaise with the managers and local operational teams to assess local participants needs and ensure our range of local relationships can respond to these needs. Where gaps in provision or long waiting lists are identified, source additional or alternative provision.
  • Promote our Performance Fund for Specialist Partners and encourage partners to use our referral platform where appropriate
  • Ensure any services we offer (whether directly or paid for) complement and do not duplicate any existing services.
  • Regularly reviewing provider details ensuring that service and contact details are accurate and capturing all contact in our CRM system.
  • Acting as the key contact for providers, ensuring queries on referrals or on any aspect of partnership working are resolved within 48 hours (24 hours where possible).
  • Ensure that Specialist & Integration Partners provide regular feedback following interventions and assess the impact/value of support provided, making recommendations for improvements, and ensuring interventions are fully utilised.
  • Share with local operational team information from partner services, responding to queries in a timely manner.

As our Local Partnership Lead, you will have:

  • Understanding of local public sector services and commissioned services.
  • Experience of working in an outcomes / target-based environment.
  • Experience of delivering presentations, preparing data and arranging/ hosting events.
  • Willing and able to travel across large geographical patches e.g., require access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence.
  • Sales orientated with ability to pitch in a personable and engaging manner.

Location: London - Willingness to travel across a cluster of London Boroughs – in some locations access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence may be beneficial.
