Community Case Worker - Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby

Tailored support will often involve accessing and referring to services such as housing, mental health, drug and alcohol, training and education, with a view to moving participants into sustainable employment when ready. 


  • Knowledge of the UK criminal justice is highly desirable
  • An adept communicator with the ability to persuade, influence and listen to others
  • Able to display strong motivational, customer service and organisational skills
  • Be resilient, target focused and able to work under pressure
  • Attentive to detail with a strong focus on quality
  • Competent in the use of all technology with excellent IT skills, including social media
  • Be able to apply lateral thinking and problem-solving techniques to a range of often challenging situations
  • A team player with high expectations of oneself and others
  • Able to work under pressure and on own initiative, regularly lone working
  • Be empathetic, non-judgmental, flexible and adaptable
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the local area and community, including available provision
  • Be comfortable working with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels
  • Honest and trustworthy and able to work with integrity
  • Have an awareness of equal opportunity, diversity and safeguarding
  • To represent APM/Ingeus in meetings relevant to the establishment or participant, upholding the organisation’s values and professional reputation at all times
  • To accurately maintain relevant documentation and IT systems and produce accurate and timely management information
  • To adhere to quality processes and procedures
  • To monitor own progress towards business and individual objectives
  • Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, each employee has a responsibility to Health and Safety and must also adhere to their responsibilities as laid out in the H&S Policy
