Youth Engagement Officer

East MidlandsFull Time / Permanent
up to £23,150

NCS (National Citizen Service) exists to engage, unite and empower young people, building their confidence so they can go out there and achieve their dreams, no matter where they’re from or what their background is. At Ingeus, this is exactly what we aim to do and currently have an opportunity for a Youth Engagement Officer to join the team in Leicestershire.

As our Youth Engagement Officer, you will work to achieve results for expressions of interest and sign-ups per school and season, working closely with other team members, promoting the NCS experience when working on recruitment drive stalls and deliver recruitment events such as assemblies, teacher meetings and other youth group sessions.

Along the way, you’ll be helping youths develop skills that’ll help them smash their future goals. If you are someone who loves presenting in front of audiences of young people, creating enthusiasm, building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders but also a confident self-starter who can easily adapt to a varied audience, we’d love to hear from you!

This is a very fast paced, no day is the same type of role and will suit someone who likes performing and entertaining groups of people, someone who likes to be part of a dynamic team, or perhaps a recent graduate who is looking to start their career working with youths and helping local communities thrive.

Come and join Ingeus, on offer is a salary of £20,750 - £23,150 depending on experience, a flexible working environment, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life insurance, private medical care, company pension, additional leave for personal development and community volunteering, the opportunity to buy those extra perks such as extra annual leave, critical illness cover, dental insurance and discounted gym membership, wellbeing services and more.

All candidates are expected to have a full, clean drivers licence as this role will involve travelling to location sites with possible overnight stays.

At Ingeus, we value diversity and inclusion and actively encourage applications from everyone, including those that are underrepresented in our workforce. We promote equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment, including a positive working environment. We are a Disability Confident Leader, a Mindful Employer, a Stonewall Champion, and we’re committed to the Armed Forces Covenant.
