Key Worker - Nelson

North WestFull Time / Permanent

The Key Worker will engage, build and maintain effective rapport with their caseload of clients. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a passion to support every client on their caseload to reach as far as they can on their journey towards employment. They will use their exceptional planning and organisational skills to work peripatetically to ensure that all clients are given appropriate assistance in accessing the right support from a range of resources and providers, encouraging and guiding them on their journey towards starting and sustaining in work.

- To conduct a series of diagnostic assessments with all referred clients to assess job readiness and the appropriate level of support required on the customer journey

- To co-create an individual Action Plan for every client, informed by the initial diagnostic by the end of the clients first appointment

- To ensure that the Action Plan is a living document and is reviewed regularly, ensuring it outlines the coordinated support options for the client to progress towards work, offered both within Ingeus

- To take a holistic approach in supporting the client, identifying barriers such as household income concerns, health & wellbeing of the client and any care for dependents that may impact on the clients progression towards work

- To provide intensive support to all clients with job search on a one-to-one basis and in group settings dependant on the customer journey identified by the diagnostic assessment.

- To conduct job search via newspapers, internet, contacting employers and cold calling.

- To ensure clients have access to workshop options such as health & wellbeing, Interview Skills, Ready for Work (in-work etiquette) and Cold Calling techniques.

- To support clients in preparing for work experience and other community based programmes.

- To provide in-work support whilst clients are in employment.

- To ensure that relationships are maintained with key internal partners including the customer support team and employer account team.

- To ensure that all documentation relating to the client is completed and maintained in an accurate, timely and respectful manner.

- To maintain quality client records on the Company database so that they outline the client’s journey on the programme and are auditable evidence of progress.
