Senior Quality, Audit & Risk Manager - National

The Senior Quality Audit and Risk Manager ensures proactive evaluation of performance and is responsible for ensuring continuous development of the Commissioned Rehabilitative Service (CRS) and its delivery to drive better outcomes for Service Users.

The Senior Quality Audit and Risk Manager works to recognise, foster and grow best practice, together with the Head of Service Excellence, through the production, maintenance and implementation of the CRS Excellence Framework.

The Senior Quality Audit and Risk Manager will oversee risk policy and protocols, risk assessment criteria and processes.


  • Regularly review and benchmark quality and performance within the contact to support continuous improvements to raising standards and improve future service design.
  • Undertake investigations to identify best practice and areas for improvement.
  • Support Head of Service Excellence in defining a measurable model of Excellence within CRS delivery
  • Support leadership teams to implement Excellence Framework
  • Support the development of managers’ capacity to continually assess themselves and their teams against defined frameworks for excellence.
  • Provision of coaching for managers and advisors to develop ability to drive service excellence
  • Developing manager capacity to conduct self-assessments and develop and implement action plans for improvement
  • Supporting with the facilitation of manager training and facilitating best practice sharing
  • Evaluate performance through Service User outcomes and provide support need to managers to inform effective evaluation
  • Define and shape quality requirements through robust standard operating procedures.
  • Assess and develop our understanding of excellent practice, pro-actively communicate this across the business, and provide the resources and support to enable teams to deliver excellence in all aspects of their service
  • Evolve ongoing development programmes to ensure all teams have the capacity, knowledge and understanding to deliver quality programmes through operating procedures and policies.
  • Undertake regular collation and review of all quality reports and associated data to ensure standards are met and maintained, whilst seeking ways to make improvements.
  • Through monitoring and review, ensure quality and accuracy within contract data and provide advice and guidance on improvements as required, working with teams to share and ensure best practice.
  • Implement agreed quality management strategy and ensure consistency and alignment against the overall business objectives and plans.
  • Adhere to agreed KPIs and management of these within relevant teams to ensure compliance and business objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Act as ‘Lead’ on all audits, providing guidance and support to teams to ensure requirements are met
  • To keep up to date with relevant documents and policies for the efficient and effective execution of the role
  • Adhere to quality processes and procedures.
  • Manage compliance in accordance with information security policy and procedures, ensuring that any perceived risks to information security are reported to the Information Security Manager.
  • Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 each employee has a responsibility to Health and Safety and must also adhere to their responsibilities as laid out in the H & S policy.
  • The role will involve travel and overnight stays
