Employer Account Manager

 

As the Employer Account Manager, you will identify the key employers and sectors and those which are currently experiencing, or are expected to experience, significant growth and work with them to enable participants to access these opportunities. The role requires establishing and maintaining close working relationships with local employers, advisors, Ingeus participants and other key partners.

Mobility will be a key requirement, given the need to build sustainable relationships with partners both external and internal. However due to remote and digital nature of programme it is anticipated the EAM will be comfortable with online platforms such as Skype and Microsoft Teams.

The main office location for this role will be in the West London area, however frequent travel across the London region is required. 

As the Employer Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating, building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with new and existing employers to generate vacancies or supported opportunities for Ingeus participants.
  • Confidently and effectively selling the Ingeus Employer Services offer to new and potential employers, utilising various marketing tools, social media, online and web-based meeting and conference (webinar) tools and self-sourcing opportunities aligned with their area of expertise or sector.
  • Making regular contact with all key employers with repeat vacancies, conducting fortnightly meetings at a minimum with all major employers and account managed relationships where ongoing recruitment is occurring.
  • Analysing market trends to identify potential business opportunities and agree new employer targets.
  • Influencing employers to modify recruitment processes and conditions to make vacancies and opportunities more accessible for disadvantaged participants.
  • Effectively promoting and agreeing inclusive recruitment processes for example information sessions, site visits, work trials and placements, interview and assessment activity, including job carving where needed.
  • Identifying the recruitment needs of each employer and working with the Ingeus support teams to provide a tailored solution for assessment, pre employment preparation and re-skilling as need to maximise participants success.

 

 Communication

  • Regular updates to local teams and advisors regarding potential and live vacancies and opportunities with employers.
  • Liaise immediately with Restart Advisors on any work-related issues and provide constructive feedback promptly.
  • Communicate clearly on an ongoing basis the added value of the relationship they are building so that it is well understood by operational colleagues.
  • Work closely with Training advisors and Skills Specialist to provide tailored routeways for participants to gain employment.

 

As our Employer Account Manager, you will have:

  • Strong understanding of local employment market, sectors and local employment trends and challenges
  • Knowledge of local labour market trends and drivers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentational skills
  • Able to effectively network to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
  • High level digital literacy skills, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications / Teams / Skype for Business
  • Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a busy schedule/workload under pressure.
  • A strong commitment to personal and professional ongoing development
