You will work closely with all frontline Employment Advisors to identify and offer performance improvement support through various one to one and group coaching and mentoring interventions to assist frontline staff to achieve set performance targets/KPI’s. 

The Performance Coach will work collaboratively with Business Managers and Team Leaders ensuring interventions are fit for purpose and promote development within the required key areas and contract standards.

As the Performance Coach, you will:

  • Liaise with the Management Team to understand concerns/issues and to plan performance improvement needs within the required areas/service standards.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with frontline staff to embed effective coaching mechanisms.
  • Act as a mentor to support best practice interventions to promote desired outcomes.
  • Proactively facilitate individual/group coaching sessions to positively impact performance.
  • Adopt a flexible coaching style to meet individual/group needs.
  • Conduct performance observations to establish coaching interventions.
  • Reporting of various metrics to the Management Team such as attendance, engagement, and participation level.
  • Coaching, motivating, and assisting frontline staff in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner to achieve goals and performance targets.
  • Re-evaluating and consolidating coaching techniques and interventions to ensure effective and positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining active communication with all internal stakeholders to ensure required outcomes are being met.
  • Create innovative coaching activities and interventions to support performance improvement.
  • Attend relevant training where business needs require and monitor own progress towards business and individual's objectives.
  • Adhere to quality processes and procedures identifying improved ways of working and to support performance excellence.
  • Any other related duties in line with business and contractual requirements/objectives.

 

As our Performance Coach, you will have:

  • Experience of delivering coaching/mentoring sessions within a varied capacity (individual/small/large groups and face to face, telephone, remotely etc.).
  • Proven experience of delivering effective coaching/mentoring sessions.
  • Previous experience of excellent achievements within a highly targeted role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to speak confidently and pitch at the right level.
  • Excellent presentation skills in both small and large group settings.
  • Energetic and passionate about helping others achieve goals and targets.
  • The ability to work individually using initiative.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Self-motivated and collaborative in developing solutions.
  • The ability to influence and effectively persuade to build on improved performance.
  • The ability to prioritise and meet specified deadlines.
  • Empower, coach and support others.
  • Accurate record keeping and administrative skills
