Group Facilitator - London

LondonFull Time / Fixed Term Contract
£30,000

Join Ingeus as a Group Facilitator and be part of the recovery of COVID-19!

The global COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on people and our economies. Our passion here at Ingeus is to support local governments and organisations in gradually changing this direction as we work together to reduce the impact on those whose employment was affected during this time.

The role of the Group Facilitator will be to provide employment support to those individuals who have recently lost their job because of the devastating impact of COVID-19. You will be delivering online workshops to Ingeus participants, as well as support participants to improve their job search and applications skills, interview skills, work behaviours, motivation and confidence in order that they quickly find appropriate employment.

This is predominantly a home-based role and may be required to attend an office one to two days per week. When a need arises to attend one of our offices, your expenses travelling to and from the offices will be reimbursed. You will be provided with all IT equipment and training required to help you succeed with Ingeus.

In brief, you will:

  • Use on-line digital platforms and elements of face to face to hold group or individual learning sessions ensuring that the content is relevant to those attending
  • Deliver preparation sessions to candidates to up-skill and prepare them for employment across a broad range of topics
  • Create and communicate a quarterly timetable of the different modules and their availability to the team
  • Ensure that all feedback is collated following a workshop and fed back to the participant or their employment coach
  • Show a passion for implementing, enthusing, and developing participants

The Programme

This role is part of our Work and Health Job Entry Targeted Support Programme (JETS). It was designed to help residents who have been unemployed and in receipt of benefits for at least 13 weeks, to find sustained work.
