Position Description

As our Solutions Architect, you will be designing, developing and documenting complex solutions that meet the diverse business requirements of Ingeus. You will be working across the business to assess and document current architectures, to develop target architectures to meet our medium- and long-term goals and support bids and new business with the development and implementation of solutions.

We are looking for someone with experience in the development of DDaT solutions to meet business needs, principles and standards to:

  • Define and document architecture within guidelines and principles
  • Take ownership and development of solutions to meet the needs of business transformation and change, business development and DDaT
  • Work within the Architecture function to provide high level designs (HLD) for solutions, and to see those developed into low level designs (LLD) for implementation
  • Discover, document and analyse existing solutions and processes with all architectural domains
  • Develop architecture patterns to achieve business goals in a sustainable and replicable manner
  • Simplify architecture to improve user experience, by the implementation of simpler, more effective, and considered responses to business requirements
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of industry/vendor products and solutions
  • Evaluate the potential of new products and services
  • Review solution and system designs to ensure consistency with set standards and policies
  • Provide DDaT planning advice to business partners and pillars in relation to their needs
  • Support the IT Project team in delivery of solutions through design and planning
  • Support the Business Development team with solution expertise to support bids
  • Liaise with the DDaT Operations team to ensure that solutions are sustainable and subject to continuous improvement
  • Work with information security colleagues to ensure that all solutions meet security and privacy by design principles

If you are a Solutions Architect who is  an expert with assessment, strategy, endorsement and rollout of designs and solutions, we would love to hear from you. Ideally, you will be degree educated and/or TOGAF certified, with relevant industry experience as well as experience dealing with IT service and product vendors and partners to ensure that solutions meet the needs of all stakeholders.

This is a home/remote working arrangement and we welcome candidates based anywhere in the UK, some travel to our London and/or Birmingham offices may be required from time to time.

This is a permanent opportunity to join our Architecture team.
