Our Key Workers are at the forefront of what we do – to empower, engage, build and maintain effective rapport with our participants.  We have recently combined 2 business critical roles within our service delivery model developing a new specialist Response Key Worker role and are now in a position to recruit candidates for a number of our sites across GM.  Our new specialist Response team will be responsible for working with a combined caseload of both in work and stopped work participants striving to achieve a claimable outcome point.  

Due to the specialist knowledge required we are seeking candidates with experience in Employment Services who have successfully supported participants from a period of unemployment into sustainable work.  You will use your exceptional planning and organisational skills to support your participants combined with your experience to develop an appropriate action plan and undertake employability tasks to realise the performance potential within your caseload. 

In addition to working with your caseload of participants, you will also be required to manage and monitor data and information to enable you to provide detailed and accurate evidence based forecasting to your manager.

Please note, this is an office-based role and as such, you will be expected to travel daily to the site that your caseload is attached to.

A typical week will involve actively undertaking;

  • Carry out assessments with all transferred participants to assess job readiness and the appropriate level of support required to achieve outcome point.
  • Co-create individual Action Plan for every participant – both in work and stopped work ensuring you undertake timely and appropriate reviews in line with participant need and contractual obligations
  • Identify barriers encountered within the transition to employment e.g. household income concerns, health & wellbeing of the participant and any care for dependents that may impact on progression through the milestones.
  • Provide intensive support with job search on a one-to-one basis and in group settings, depending on the need as well as proactive business development and reverse marketing using sales strategies.
  • Provide continued targeted support whilst participants are in employment such as seeking secondary employment, increasing hours, encouraging career progression.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and maintained accurately on our database

This is a permanent office based role with a salary of £25,000 with additional performance-based rewards on offer.
