CIC - Contracts & Account Manager

As our Contracts & Account Manager, you will be responsible for for establishing, managing and expanding the ongoing relationships with a cross-sector portfolio of CiC’s strategic customers.

You will Identify additional customer needs and requirements, produce compelling and detailed proposals and secure services within existing and new customers.

 

The Contracts & Account Manager position will include:

Business Development

  • Carrying out business development activities, across all channels and geographies to generate leads and customer meetings.
  • Preparing proposals for meetings in conjunction with subject matter experts (SME) across the business
  • Delivering proposal presentations, ensuring appropriate SME’s and others are present to support the pitch
  • Developing formal relationships with current and potential customers to promote CiC’s services

 Relationship Management

  • Nurturing all new employer accounts through the design and implementation phase.
  • Being the first point of contact for key stakeholders within each designated customer

 Strategic Planning

  • Maintaining excellent understanding of market conditions, including gaps in provision to ensure that the business responds to new opportunities identified.
  • Representing CiC at key events (in the UK and overseas as appropriate) to promote and market our services and network with key stakeholders

Contract Management

  • Ensuring all customers understand, are presented with, and return all required contracts and documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Being responsible for the accurate invoicing on each account, and timely payment by the customer to minimize debt
  • Ensuring maximum rate of contract retention through the timely renewal of contracts at preferential rates

 

Essential skills required for the role:

  • Experience working to targets
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Excellent commercial, contractual and business acumen
  • Self-starter, able to work remotely
  • Ability to work to budgets and financially plan
  • Ability to build and present proposals confidently
