Rebuilding your life after sentencing is one of the toughest challenges a person can face. But with the right support, it’s possible. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Personal Well-being Advisor — someone with a rare mix of compassion, resilience, organisation and flexibility. This is for the person who understands that rehabilitation isn’t just about offering advice; it’s about rolling up your sleeves and pro-actively supporting someone on their journey.
This is a demanding role; you'll be working in a challenging environment with people who have complex needs and who can be reluctant to engage. But when you help someone break the cycle and you see them take real steps toward transforming their life, it’s a great feeling.
About the Role:
You will support a caseload of service users in custody and in the community, including those recently released from prison or on suspended sentences and community orders. Working across prisons, community sites and probation offices in West Yorkshire, flexibility is essential. You’ll collaborate with pre-release teams, probation and internal departments to support each person’s progress. While you can often plan your own schedule, you’ll need strong prioritisation skills in this varied and challenging role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
What We’re Looking For:
Whilst we welcome applications from those with lived experience, this role requires an enhanced DBS check and HMPPS EL1 vetting. As we wait for the necessary background checks to be completed, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to shadow your colleagues, ask questions, and learn the ropes.

Our goal is to ensure you can showcase your skills and potential in a way that works for you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at careers@ingeus.co.uk to discuss how we can support you
