Rebuilding your life after prison is one of the toughest challenges a person can face. But with the right support, its possible. That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Personal Wellbeing Mentor-someone with a rare mix of compassion, resilience, organisation and flexibility. Someone who understands that rehabilitation isn't just about offering advice; it’s about rolling up your sleeves and pro-actively supporting someone on their journey.
You'll be working in a challenging environment with people who have complex needs and who can be reluctant to engage. But when you help someone break the cycle and take real steps toward transforming their life, it’s a great feeling.
About the Role:
You’ll support individuals as they transition from prison back into the community. Through both 121 support and group sessions, you’ll cover essential topics such as health and well-being, goal setting, and personal development to help them rebuild their lives.
Your support doesn’t stop at release—you’ll continue to assist individuals in accessing vital services, such as registering with a GP, securing mental health support, setting up a bank account, and connecting with relevant community groups – You’ll be there every step of the way.
