Head of Operations

Location: Central and West London offices

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)

Lead at pace. Drive quality. Deliver results that change lives.

If you’re a senior operational leader who thrives in a performance‑by‑results environment where quality and outcomes are your priority this is your opportunity to lead a multi‑site region to outstanding delivery.

As Head of Operations on the Restart scheme, you’ll take accountability for a high‑impact service across multiple locations in Central & West London, shaping a culture where teams feel motivated and supported, expectations are clear, and performance is delivered the right way through consistent, high‑quality practice.

We operate in a performance culture because delivering excellent outcomes is how we continue to enable better lives.

What you’ll be doing (and why it matters)

You’ll be the senior leader who brings clarity, pace and consistency — linking quality of service directly to performance results and commissioner confidence.

You will:

  • Lead multi‑site delivery across Central & West London, setting clear expectations for performance, quality and compliance  and building a culture that delivers at pace, even when priorities shift.
  • Inspire and align teams through a clear and compelling leadership message: quality drives outcomes, outcomes drive performance and performance changes lives.
  • Develop exceptional managers - coaching, stretching and strengthening leadership capability so performance is owned at every level.
  • Drive consistent delivery standards by working across the regional leadership team to align priorities, share learning, and embed best practice across sites.
  • Partner with Operational Excellence and colleagues in other regions to identify what works, scale best practice, and continually improve the way we deliver.
  • Embed quality and compliance as “how we work”  ensuring delivery aligns to contractual requirements and audit expectations, supported by robust operating procedures and disciplined change control.
  • Use insight to drive action, making management information meaningful at every level and acting quickly on risk, trend and underperformance.

The kind of leader we’re looking for

We’re looking for a senior, values‑led operator who is both commercially sharp and people‑focused - someone who can create belief, build capability, and deliver results through others.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Proven senior leadership experience in a highly performance‑driven, regulated and/or audited operational setting.
  • The confidence to set a clear direction, hold high standards, and act decisively when performance or quality slips.
  • Strong capability in developing leaders,  building confident managers who can deliver consistently and sustainably.
  • A track record of using data and MI to manage performance, identify trends and drive improvement at pace.
  • The ability to balance compliance and care: doing things right, and doing the right thing, every time.
  • Comfort operating in change, including adapting recruitment and resourcing approaches as the contractual market shifts.

Ready to lead delivery that makes a difference?

If you’re a high‑energy operational leader who can connect quality practice to measurable performance, build strong managers, and align a region around shared priorities, we’d love to hear from you.
