As Recruitment Manager, you will lead the delivery of a robust recruitment strategy to meet both clinical and non-clinical hiring needs for the Health Assessment Advisory Service, delivered by Ingeus on behalf of the DWP. You will create an engaging and high-performing environment for your team, ensuring recruitment targets are met through an efficient and scalable fulfilment model.

Working closely with Recruitment team peers, colleagues and internal stakeholders, you will ensure a seamless candidate journey—from application through to offer through to onboarding. This role is pivotal to building a strong workforce that underpins the success of the service, delivering an exceptional experience for customer.

What you'll be doing:

Lead, Develop, and Inspire: Manage, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to deliver exceptional performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Deliver Recruitment Fulfilment: Drive the successful delivery of specialist and high-volume clinical and non-clinical recruitment in line with agreed monthly and strategic targets.

Optimise Sourcing Strategies: Take responsibility for multi-channel recruitment advertising and leverage direct sourcing tools to maximise candidate attraction and ROI.

Employer Brand Advocacy: Engage HAAS colleagues as active ambassadors in social recruitment initiatives to strengthen talent attraction.

Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Business and Clinical Operations leaders, influencing demand planning, process optimisation, compliance, and reporting frameworks.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse recruitment data and insights to identify trends, improve processes, and optimise recruitment technology and tools.

Enhance Candidate Experience: Monitor candidate engagement throughout the hiring journey, implementing improvements to ensure a positive and seamless experience.

Continuous Improvement: Use feedback from candidates and hiring managers to refine processes and elevate the overall recruitment experience.

Innovation and Growth: Introduce new recruitment initiatives and collaborate with the Head of Recruitment (HAAS) to design innovative strategies that meet current demand and support future growth.

Interview Capacity Management: Partner with hiring managers to ensure sufficient interview availability aligned with recruitment demand.

Alignment with Training and Onboarding: Work closely with Clinical Standards to align start dates with training schedules for both agency and direct hires, ensuring smooth transitions.

Seamless Handover: Ensure accurate and timely transfer of new hires to the Onboarding team through established processes, trackers, and reporting mechanisms.

Champion Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure all recruitment practices align with Ingeus’ Diversity & Inclusion and Social Responsibility commitments.

Lead by Example: Demonstrate Ingeus’ core values and best practices in all aspects of leadership and recruitment delivery.

What we are looking for:

Leadership & People Management: Experience of managing a high-performing recruitment team within the healthcare sector.  Strong coaching and mentoring skills to drive continuous improvement.

Recruitment Advertising & Employer Branding: A good understanding of how recruitment advertising and employer branding works, with the ability to monitor and ensure correct execution across all channels.

Stakeholder Management: Skilled in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partners. Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams to achieve shared goals.

Operational Excellence: Strong organisational and planning skills to manage competing priorities and meet service-level agreements. Data-driven approach to monitor performance metrics and optimise processes.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident in presenting recruitment strategies and progress to senior stakeholders.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment. Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.

Technology & Systems: Comfortable using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR technology platforms. Proficient in using data and reporting tools to inform decision-making.

What we offer:

  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Up to 10% quarterly bonus
  • Private pension scheme
