Supply Chain Manager
Location: Homeworking - Regular travel around Great Manchester required so candidates need to live within traveling distance
Salary: £42,000 per Annum + Package

Ingeus are currently recruiting for for a Supply Chain Manager to manage a network of supply chain partners, involved in delivering a range of services under the Department of Work and Pension's Restart programme. In the role, you will ensure that Supply Chain Partners meet performance and contract expectations and provide a high quality service to our participants on this employability contract.

As part of the role you will:

  • Manage a network of Supply Chain Partners, ensuring that they provide the highest level of service for Participants and meet and exceed the contractual minimum expectations for performance and service standards.
  • Conduct Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Review Meetings of Delivery Partners, to review contractual performance and manage their delivery and develop strategies to mitigate against underperformance.
  • Manage the progression of providers onto and through the formal performance management process and other management processes.
  • Work closely with the New Business and Strategy team to identify gaps in external provision and support the identification, selection and set up of new supply chain partners for existing and future contracts
  • Drive the continuous improvement and capacity building of subcontractors by ensuring that appropriate performance improvement plans are in place and executed.
  • Attend meetings with Commissioners and Local Authorities when required.

You will have:

  • Experience in managing government and operational contracts
  • Experience in developing and maintaining an effective relationship with internal operational management teams to ensure supply chain performance improvement.
  • Experience in engaging with other organisations or within an organisation at different strategic levels.
