About Us: We are at the forefront of the Restart program, a mandatory DWP initiative designed to empower individuals who have been out of work for at least 12 months. Our mission is to provide tailored support, reigniting participant engagement and guiding them towards sustainable employment aligned with their skills and aspirations.

Empowerment through Engagement: Build positive relationships with participants, utilizing a blend of remote and face-to-face support. Leverage digital platforms to recommend job search activities and foster community and industry connections.

Tailored Support: Partner with participants to create customized action plans, identifying career opportunities, addressing barriers, and providing guidance on issues such as debt, mental health, and career coaching.

Skill Development: Offer industry-specific training and development, ensuring participants are equipped with the necessary tools for success in sectors like retail, manufacturing, and contact centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build effective and positive relationships with participants.
  • Provide remote/digital and face-to-face support using platforms such as Microsoft Teams
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Create tailored action plans for career progression.
  • Offer support for debt concerns, mental health conditions, and career coaching.
  • Ensure participants have updated professional CVs and digital profiles.
  • Provide industry-specific training and development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify job opportunities.
  • Prepare participants for job interviews through mock interviews and assessment activities.

 

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Performance target-driven experience.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Flexible and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Welfare to Work experience (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the local labor market and stakeholders.
