Regional Office Worker - Site & Community based (Covering Central London)
Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum + Package
About the role
Can you open doors with employers and turn good conversations into meaningful job opportunities for young people?
We are looking for a commercially minded individual to build strong employer relationships to create a pipeline of high-quality, accessible roles for the Youth Jobs Guarantee.
This is a pacey, target-driven role for someone who enjoys business development, relationship management and turning employer interest into successful job starts.
What you will be doing
- Build a strong employer pipeline, engaging businesses across and converting interest into real opportunities.
- Create meaningful, suitable roles that meet employer needs and give young people a positive experience of work.
- Use a consultative approach, understanding workforce challenges and presenting practical recruitment solutions.
- Promote inclusive recruitment, helping employers remove barriers and consider accessible, flexible approaches.
- Support matching and onboarding, working with colleagues to connect young people to the right roles.
- Represent Ingeus externally at employer forums, networking events and sector groups.
- Deliver against targets, maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasting opportunities and tracking conversion.
- Maintain quality and compliance, ensuring employer activity meets safeguarding, equality, data protection and contractual requirements.
Ingeus is a leading human services provider helping people, business and communities thrive through employment, skills and health & wellbeing services. We are a trusted partner to government and industry delivering services that create positive social impact and transform lives.
About you
You will be a confident relationship builder who enjoys opening doors, asking good questions and turning conversations into action. You may come from employer engagement, recruitment, business development, account management, sales or another target-driven environment where success depends on influence, pace and follow-through.
You will bring commercial confidence without losing sight of quality. Securing vacancies matters, but the right vacancies matter more, so you will balance employer needs with the strengths, ambitions and circumstances of young people.
You will be comfortable working to targets, managing a pipeline, prioritising the right conversations and adapting your approach when activity is not converting.
Strong communication skills are essential. You will engage employers at different levels, explain the programme clearly and challenge constructively where an opportunity does not meet the right standard.
This is not a youth-work role, but you will meet participants through matching, recruitment and onboarding, so empathy, respect and belief in young people’s potential are important.
If you can build employer confidence, create high-quality opportunities and help young people take an important step into work, we would like to hear from you.
- Candidates with Full UK Driving Licences & access to vehicles is Desirable -
