Wellbeing Officer:

Location: Greater Manchester ( travel will be required when needed across the Greater Manchester Area base office will be discussed at interview)

Salary: £30,000 per annum & Company Benefits

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday 09.00 -17.00

Ingeus are currently recruiting for a Wellbeing Officer to manage a caseload of participants that require low and medium level to support their mental wellbeing such as cognitive behavioural therapy, lifestyle, health specific and psycho educational workshops, in addition to upskilling and supporting employment advisors on how to support their participants in these areas.

What you’ll be doing as a wellbeing officer:

  • Providing face to face, video & phone sessions for the participants to support pathway to employment
  • Collating workshop feedback, reviewing workshops and sharing a summary of participant feedback with line manager
  • Producing tailored health action plans for each participants referred to support employability
  • Offering advice and guidance to participants about their health conditions and empowering individuals to manage their health more independently and effectively to support the participant back to the work place
  • Empowering participants to change their lifestyle behaviours and promoting independent management of their general physical, psychological, and social wellbeing to move into sustainable employment.
  • Joint working with other operational roles and other health professionals.
  • Ensuring that all participant-related activities are recorded accurately and appropriately on our systems in a timely manner, as per KPIs and professional standards.
  • Meet and ideally exceed all performance KPI’s, seeking feedback and implementing changes where appropriate to continuously improve.

Qualifications

  • Registered as a health professional with one or more of the following regulatory bodies as below:
    • Therapist registered as graduate or chartered Member with BPS (British Psychological Society).
    • A counsellor who is registered as Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or with UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
    • Cognitive Behavioural Therapist registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
