Partnership & Employer Engagement Manager 

Salary: £44,000 per annum

Location: Covering Central and West London

Contract Type: Permanent  Full Time

Hours of work: 37,5 per week

As our Partnership & Employer Engagement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of an exciting new programme by developing strong relationships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, community organisations and specialist support providers.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders, in order to support the creation of opportunities that will support participants to overcome barriers, build confidence and progress towards their goals.

You will also lead on identifying and coordinating external support, managing a budget to ensure resources are used effectively to deliver targeted support, enhance participant outcomes and maximise positive social impact.

What you will be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, community organisations, support providers and key stakeholders.
  • Develop partnership and employer engagement activities that create meaningful opportunities and support participant progression.
  • Champion inclusive recruitment practices, promoting flexible working, reasonable adjustments and accessible employment opportunities.
  • Advocate for participants, helping partners and employers understand individual strengths, needs and barriers to employment.
  • Identify, coordinate and monitor external support services, interventions and progression opportunities to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Manage the budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively to provide targeted participant support.
  • Oversee relationships with external providers, monitoring service quality, performance and agreed KPIs or SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate partnership records and use data and insight to monitor impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the organisation at local forums and stakeholder meetings building collaborative partnerships.

Qualifications

You will require:

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in working with KPIs and performance targets.
  • The ability to use data, insight and feedback to monitor partnership activity, fund usage and impact.
  • A solution focused outlook and strong decision making skills.
  • Confidence in working with safeguarding, risk, confidentiality and digital systems.

Desired experience:

  • Building and maintaining employer, stakeholder and partner relationships.
  • Working with employers to promote inclusive recruitment and workplace accessibility.
  • Managing external providers, budgets or support funding.
  • Experience within employability, skills, health, community or related sectors.
  • Delivering successful outcomes through partnership and collaborative working.
